Job Description:
As a Mechanical Product Development Engineer, you play a crucial role in designing, developing, and optimizing our mechanical products. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to create innovative solutions that meet the highest quality and performance standards.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical products and systems from concept to production.
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical analyses.
- Prepare technical specifications and documentation.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as R&D, production, and quality control, to optimize product development.
- Oversee prototyping and testing of new products.
- Maintain contact with suppliers and partners to discuss technical requirements and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements:
- A completed master’s degree in a technical field, preferably in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in mechanical product development.
- Experience with Inventor.
- Knowledge of materials, manufacturing methods, and mechanical systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Experience in project management is a plus.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
