Their product innovation journey began in the THINK phase, where we carefully analyzed the issues with the existing Ledsreact Pro and collaborated closely with Ledsreact to understand their specific requirements. Our team focused on creating a solution that would not only address the existing problems but also enhance the overall functionality and user experience of the device.

In the CREATE phase, our electronics design team completely re-engineered the hardware, incorporating a System on Module (SOM), a Wi-Fi/Bluetooth module, USB-C Power Delivery, and various sensors that communicate through multiple buses. The mechanical design team worked closely with the electronics team to ensure that the redesigned PCBs would fit perfectly within the device’s compact housing, which had to be portable and easy to carry with one hand. Additionally, considerations for safety certifications were integrated into the design, including the use of a metal plate between the electronics and the plastic cover for fire safety.

The firmware development was another critical aspect of the project. Our firmware development team created a custom Linux image capable of managing the various hardware components and supporting remote updates from anywhere in the world. The firmware also included scenarios for different exercises and communicated seamlessly with the accompanying app, which was developed by a third-party provider.

During the APPROVE phase, our New Product Introduction (NPI) team ensured that the Ledsreact Pro met all regulatory requirements and industry standards. They also developed comprehensive digital work instructions to guide the assembly and testing processes later on.

In the BUILD phase, we transitioned to production, where the final version of the Ledsreact Pro was meticulously assembled and tested. Our production team utilized advanced manufacturing techniques to ensure that every unit met the highest standards of quality and performance.

Finally, during the CARE phase, we provided ongoing support to ensure that the Ledsreact Pro continued to perform optimally post-launch. This included continuous maintenance and support services to address any potential issues and ensure the product’s long-term success in the market.
